Zachary

Can you believe Zachary is 5? Zachary is attending Jim Plain Elementary. He is loving Kindergarten. He is learning to read, he learning about insects (which he just loves), and he just started to learn about weather. Also this year, he has learned his full name, his birth date, his phone number, and he knows how to tie his shoes. I am so amazed when I look at him that he no longer looks the least bit babyish, he now looks only like a boy. He is starting to get his bottom adult teeth in…his top teeth are slow coming in, even though they are the ones that are that fell out first. The dentist said that they are there, they are just going to come in in their own time. Zachary is such an adventurous little boy. I love that about him, even though it can cause both gray hairs and frustration at times. He is also a very inquisitive little boy. Every night at bedtime, he wants to know if we have time for questions. And his questions are usually the “How is ??? made?”. Ranging from robots to ceiling fans to baseball bats. His Sunday School teacher put it a really neat way to me this past weekend, she told me how much she loved having him in the class (he is the youngest in the multi-age class that she is teaching), but as she put it, “Zachary is just bigger then life.”.
